Jammu, September 3: A bus carrying 17 police officers and 3 female prisoners collided with an army vehicle in the Ramban area on Sunday, resulting in injuries to everybody aboard.
They said that the bus was on its way from the central prison in Srinagar to the Bhadrewah jail when it collided with an army vehicle that was in front of it close to T2 Tunnel Marog Ramban. They went on to say that female constables are among the force’s ranks. The wounded, including female inmates, have been sent to Ramban District Hospital.
Ramban SHO Nahiem ul Haq has verified the accident and informed GNS that all reported injuries are considered to be minor. All of them, he claimed, “have minor injuries.” He also said that police had filed a report and were investigating the matter further. (GNS)
