9 Sep in Kulgam: In order to assess the material and financial successes achieved under District Capex 2023–24, a meeting of officials was presided over today by Deputy Commissioner (DC) Kulgam, Dr Bilal Mohi-Ud-Din Bhat.
During the meeting, it was revealed that out of the 2421 authorised works, about 700 are physically finished and have an estimated expenditure of Rs 65 crore.
The DC instructed the responsible executing agencies to make sure that the execution of all the projects on the ground is sped up so that they are all finished as soon as possible.
The DC gave the relevant officers instructions to make sure that each category of current work is completed to a high standard in order to achieve the intended results.
He emphasised the need of making effective use of the working season to finish tasks on schedule. Officers were urged to do their best efforts in order to maximise and optimally utilise monies under various initiatives.
He also exhorted all involved to work hard and put up additional effort in order to get the desired results.
ADC Viqar Ahmed Girri, JDP Zahid Sajjad, ACD Mohammad Imran, GM DIC Bashir Ahmad, Executing Engineers from R&B, REW, CEO, and other executives were present at the meeting.
