Kupwara: To assess the Jal Jeevan Mission’s (JJM) progress in the district, the District Development Commissioner (DDC) Kupwara, Ayushi Sudan, called a meeting of JJM engineers and representatives from other line departments on Thursday at the DC office complex.
DDC highlighted the need of mobilising all resources to accelerate the execution of all the works and ensure their timely completion while conducting a thorough evaluation of all the activities.
The DDC instructed the concerned to get the priority certification of the Har Ghar Jal of 10 panchayats from each of the Tangdhar, Kupwara, and Handwara subdivisions.
Additionally, she gave instructions to relevant engineers to protect other departments’ assets when implementing JJM schemes and to carefully guarantee that assets, especially road patches, are restored in the lowest amount of time.
