New Delhi: August 18, 2017 Every year on August 20, Sadbhvana Diwas is observed nationwide as a way to foster community harmony, national unity, and the message of peace and nonviolence. Northern Railway commemorated the Sadbhavana Diwas-2023 as part of the celebration today at the headquarters office in Baroda House, New Delhi. At a brief ceremony conducted at Baroda House, the commitment was administered by Shri Shobhan Chaudhuri, General Manager of Northern Railway. Senior Railway Officials and employees were also present for the Sadbhavana Oath ceremony.
Speaking at the event, Shri Chaudhuri stressed the importance of emotional unification and harmony among all Indians, regardless of caste, region, religion, or language, as well as the need to settle all disputes through constitutional channels without resorting to violence.
