Jammu and Kashmir Bank Ltd. fired chief manager Sajad Bazaz from his position on Saturday with immediate effect, according to a statement from Srinagar.
The undersigned is satisfied that Sajad Ahmad Bazaz’s activities as Chief Manager, Code No. 4484 posted at the Internal Communication and Marketing Department are such that they warrant his dismissal from service in accordance with Rule/Provision after taking into account the facts and circumstances of the case as contained in the report received from credible agencies, according to an official order issued by J&K Bank that was accessed by news agency Kashmir News Observer (KNO), which quoted the bank’s MD.
“Whereas the undersigned is satisfied in accordance with Rule/Provision 12.29 in OSM that it is not necessary to conduct an investigation into the matter of Sajad Ahmad Bazaz, Chief Manager, Code No. 4484, in order to protect the security of the State. As a result, I now terminate Mr. Sajad Ahmad Bazaz’s employment as Chief Manager, Code No. 4484, with immediate effect.
