Bandipora: The District Administration Bandipora organised a heartfelt goodbye party for the departing Sub Divisional Magistrate (SDM) Gurez, Dr Mudasir, and Chief Executive Officer Municipal Council Bandipora, Wali Mohammad, following their transfer from the district, on Thursday. The celebration was held at the Mini Secretariat, Bandipora.
The government also gave PMGSY for Execute Engineering Bilal Ahmad a heartfelt goodbye before his retirement on September 30 of this year.
At the goodbye ceremony, Dr. Owais Ahmed, the deputy commissioner, ADDC Bandipora Ali Afsar Khan, District Nodal Officer Coordination Mohammad Ashraf Hakak, SDM Sumbal, ACR Bandipora, and other key administrative officials were present.
The Deputy Commissioner, Dr. Owais Ahmed, spoke at the event and praised the accomplishments of the departing officials while wishing them well in their future efforts.
He recognised SDM Gurez’s contributions to the overall growth of the Gurez Sub Division during his time in Bandipora. According to him, the SDM was crucial in putting Gurez on the tourist map.
SDM Gurez also spoke about his insightful experience and expressed his gratitude to the officers for their active support and collaboration during his term as well as to the District Administration for planning an excellent departure.
He praised the district administration’s efforts and Dr. Owais Ahmed, the deputy commissioner of Bandipora.
Congratulations gifts from the District Administration were given to the departing officials after the occasion.
