Srinagar, September 27: On Wednesday, the State Prosecutor Agency (SIA) conducted a series of raids in south Kashmir in connection with its probe into the murder of bank guard Sanjay Sharma in February.
According to a senior official quoted by the KDC news agency, searches are now being conducted at many locations in south Kashmir in connection with the murder of ATM guard Sanjay Sharma from Pulwama (FIR No. 14/2023).
South Kashmir’s Shopian, Pulwama, and Anantnag districts are being searched in different locations.
The official claimed that the searches were being conducted in accordance with search warrants obtained by the Special Court and that the matter of Sharma’s death had originally been probed by Pulwama Police before being transferred to the SIA.
