On Sunday, law enforcement in Jammu and Kashmir nabbed four drug dealers in the Sopore town of the Baramulla district in northern Kashmir.

According to a government official, four individuals were apprehended during a naka check at the Amargrah border.

Names of the four have been released: Mohammed Asif Mir, son of Mushtaq Ahmad Mir of Shalpora; Rouf Ahmad Chopan, son of Mohammad Subhan Chopan of Kupwara; and Zubair Ahmad Ganie, son of Ghulam Mohammed Ganie, of Badam Bagh.
A total of 984 Spasmoproxyvan plus illegal pills were found during their investigation, the official added.

Meanwhile, the relevant parts of legislation have been recorded at the Amargrah Police Station as case FIR No. 61/2023.

The official said that more investigations had been initiated.
