LMV passengers, private cars, HMVs, and load carriers will be permitted from both sides on the Jammu-Srinagar National Highway (NH-44), viz., Jammu towards Srinagar and vice versa, subject to fine weather and excellent road conditions.
It is important for commuters to maintain proper lane discipline.
Movement of Security Forces convoys along the Jammu-Srinagar National Highway (NH-44), from Jammu in the direction of Srinagar and vice versa, must be permitted during periods of excellent weather and satisfactory road conditions.
ROUTE SSG
Vehicle traffic on the Srinagar-Sonamarg-Gumari route would be permitted from both directions, from Srinagar to Kargil and vice versa, provided that the weather cooperates and the road is in excellent condition. Between 7:30 and 11:30, only LMVs, followed by HMVs, will be permitted to travel from Minamarg to Srinagar. From Sonamarg to Kargil, LMVs followed by HMVs will be permitted between 1300 and 1700. Once the designated time has passed, no further vehicles will be permitted.
The SFs Convoy will depart Srinagar for Kargil at 8:00 a.m. The SFs convoy travelling between Drass and Srinagar must coordinate their routes so as to minimise disruptions to civilian traffic.
Mughal Road: Vehicle travel on Mughal Road from both sides, namely Poonch towards Shopian and vice versa, should be permitted subject to favourable weather and excellent road conditions.
From Behramgalla (Bufliaz) and Herpora (Shopian), these vehicles will be permitted between 0600 and 1800. After the designated time has passed, no vehicles will be admitted.
