Srinagar: Man arrested for molesting a female he picked up in a vehicle

A Man was detained this afternoon in the Srinagar area of central Kashmir on charges of molesting and hurting a girl.

Twitter was used by the police in Srinagar to announce the arrest of a suspect in a case of molesting and wounding a girl: “One Molester named Uzair Hameed Mir S/o Abdul Hameed Mir R/o Daulatabad Khanyar. He picked up the woman, attempted molestation, and then tossed her out of the vehicle when she protested.

“FIR in stringent sections registered in Rainawari PS. Car also seized,” the tweet says. (GNS)
