On Friday, August 18th, Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha opened the cutting-edge CT scan facility at Srinagar’s 92 Base Hospital.

The Lt Governor gave a speech in which he praised the efforts of the 92nd Base Hospital’s medical staff in setting up a state-of-the-art CT Scan Centre. He was appreciative of the National Stock Exchange Foundation’s corporate social responsibility (CSR) effort and military partnership.

The Lt. Governor added in a statement, “It is reaffirmation of our promise to provide best possible care to brave combatants who serve on the frontlines with the motto of ‘Seva Parmo Dharm,'” meaning they serve with the intention of doing good while sacrificing their lives for our safety and security.

He further said that this is a representation of our firm resolve to provide our servicemen and women with the highest quality medical attention possible.

The Lt Governor praised the efforts of the security forces in the UT of J&K to keep the calm and prevent crime.

He urged all sectors of society, businesses, and organisations to work together as one team to fulfil their duties in improving conditions for the country’s brave military.

The Lt Governor praised the work of the 92nd Base Hospital’s medical and nursing personnel in addressing the preventative and curative healthcare requirements of the armed forces’ jawans. He believes the new centre would facilitate faster diagnosis and better treatment.

The Lieutenant Governor also toured the CT Scan Centre to check up the amenities.
