Suicide by hanging suspected in Hajin teen, 18

On July 27th, authorities in the Bandipora district of north Kashmir reported that a young man, aged 18, had committed himself in the Banyari hamlet of Hajin.

The Banayari resident who was killed has been named as Mudasir Ahmad Dar, son of Bilal Ahmad Dar, according to the Kashmir News Observer (KNO).

His corpse, it was said, was discovered hanging in a field close to his house.
The necessary legal procedures were completed, and the corpse was returned to the family for burial.

The police are aware of the situation and have launched an investigation—(KNO).
