Teen killed in Dalgate area of Srinagar; suspect taken into custody

Officials in Srinagar said that a youngster was stabbed to death on Saturday afternoon in the Dalgate neighbourhood of the city.

The youngster was allegedly injured with a sharp edged weapon during a fight in the Chinar Bagh neighbourhood of Dalgate this afternoon, according to a report from the news outlet Kashmir News Observer (KNO).

According to him, the youngster was pronounced dead at the scene, and the suspect was taken into custody.

Burhan Nisar, a resident of Konakhan Dalgate—(KNO), is the youngster in question.
