Nov. 10, Srinagar: Dilshada Shaheen, the provincial president of the Apni Party’s Women Wing, said that her organization has a definite and steadfast goal for the advancement of women in Jammu and Kashmir.
The party would fight for the social, educational, economic, and political empowerment of women in J&K, she said, provided the party wins a mandate from the electorate in the assembly elections.
Shaheen was giving a speech at a party convention in Sangarwani, which is located in the Pulwama area of South Kashmir, according to the press release. In addition to a large number of local women, female party workers were present at the conference.
In an effort to fortify the party even more, Dilshada Shaheen advised Women’s Wing Party workers to step up their political involvement and public outreach. Assuring the welfare of women in Jammu and Kashmir, a gender that has suffered much as a result of the region’s protracted conflicts, is one of our party’s main goals, the speaker said. To enable women to become fully empowered, it is crucial that they be allowed to exercise all of their constitutional rights. Strengthening the party’s presence in Jammu and Kashmir is necessary to accomplish this.
