Devender Singh Rana, a senior member of the BJP, said today in Jammu that the massive changes in security and development that have taken place in Jammu and Kashmir over the last more than four years have given the people there hope for the future.
Devender Rana and senior leader Vikram Randhawa engaged the populace in conversation at Satwari and Chowadi on the outskirts of the city. “BJP’s Mission J&K has been to ensure the welfare of the people by creating an atmosphere of peace and stability wherein every segment of society gets equitable opportunities to progress and prosper,” Devender Rana said.
According to a news release, he said that the BJP’s priority under the visionary leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi has been to build an enabling environment for the people, who have endured trying times for decades owing to poor governance and other issues. “The first objective in such a dire scenario was to restore calm and normality, which proved achievable owing to strong public support and ultimately resulted in extraordinary actions on the economic and developmental fronts. The people are already reaping the benefits of peace; thus, the outcomes are clear, he said.
Rana underlined confidence that all the regions and subregions of Jammu and Kashmir would develop as dynamic entities with possibilities for success for everyone, without any discrimination or appeasement-related favours, under the fearless leadership of the Prime Minister. He said that the voices of all regions and sub-regions are now heard and that the governing process has undergone course correction. The Union Territory is ready to enter a new age of growth as a consequence of coordinated efforts, he noted.
The senior BJP leader highlighted the outstanding efforts made over the years and the execution of numerous programmes and welfare projects with missionary fervour, adding they had led to the progress of every part of society. He said, “The BJP’s outreach to every individual demonstrates the sincerity of intent to ensure Jammu and Kashmir’s rapid development in accordance with the cherished agenda of Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Vishwas, and Sabka Prayas.”
Rana spoke into great detail on a number of ground-breaking programmes meant to guarantee development, build infrastructure, improve utility services, and spur growth as a result of significant investments. Additionally, he discussed several measures implemented as part of the Jammu Smart City Project to enhance public spaces and other services in their entirety. He said that the most popular pilgrimage site in north India is now receiving the fresh appearance and opulence it so well deserves.
