The Baramulla-Uri Railway Line is a major project that will greatly improve the region’s transport infrastructure, and the drone survey is intended to give essential insights and data for its development.

Northern Railways, Banihal, has been given permission by the District Magistrate of Baramulla to perform a drone survey of the Baramulla-Uri Railway Line.

This was made possible thanks to a No Objection Certificate (NOC) issued by the Senior Superintendent of Police in Baramulla in response to a request from the Deputy Chief Engineer and C-II of the Northern Railways in Banihal.

The drone survey is intended to give vital information for the construction of the Baramulla-Uri Railway Line, a major undertaking that would greatly improve regional mobility.

The project’s goal is to link the two lovely cities of Baramulla and Uri, making them more accessible and improving the economic possibilities of the surrounding region.

This approval, however, is subject to certain constraints designed to protect the general public.

The drone survey business is obligated to work with the police and security forces stationed in the area to ensure the safety of everyone involved. They must also save a copy of any and all video recordings made throughout the survey, for use by law enforcement.

The corporation has been warned not to use the drone camera in a way that may cause traffic delays in order to protect the public’s comfort.

In addition, strict directives have been issued that forbid the taking of any images or movies of Army, Police, or other crucial facilities without the express consent of the appropriate authorities.

To ensure everyone’s safety, the firm may only fly the drone during daylight hours (between 9 am and 4 pm) and must file daily reports with the police in Baramulla and Pattan.

Open lines of communication and teamwork are emphasised by the government.

In order to guarantee a trouble-free survey, the firm has been instructed to notify the local police force in plenty of time before the scheduled day.

The firm has been entrusted with the task of protecting the privacy of any records pertaining to security and strategic institutions throughout their commercial usage of the survey data, therefore addressing concerns about the safety of this information.
