Roshan Jaggi has been appointed as the Principal Chief Conservator of Forests (Territorial) and the HoFF of J&K.
Srinagar, July 24: The government of Jammu and Kashmir has ordered a change in the forest department, naming Roshan Jaggi as the primary Chief Conservator of Forests (Territorial) and HoFF, J&K.
The following transfers and postings of Forest Officers are thus authorised with immediate effect in the interest of administration, according to an order issued by Dheeraj Gupta, Principal Secretary to the Government.
Roshan Jaggi, IFS (JK:1988), PCCF/Director, Social Forestry, J&K is moved and placed as Principal Chief Conservator of Forests (Territorial) & HoFF, J&K, according to the order.
Suresh Kumar Gupta, IFS (JK:1991), PCCF/Chief Wild Life Warden, J&K, has been moved and assigned the position of PCCF/Director, Social Forestry, J&K. He will also serve as the Managing Director of the Jammu and Kashmir Forest Development Corporation.
Sarvesh Rai, IFS (JK:1991), PCCF/CEO, CAMPA, J&K, has been moved and placed as PCCF/Chief Wildlife Warden, J&K in place of Sh. Suresh Kumar Gupta, IFS.
Asaf Mahmood, IFS (JK:1992), PCCF/Director, J&K FRI, with additional responsibility for Director, Soil & Water Conservation, I&K, has been moved and assigned as PCCF/CEO, CAMPA, J&K in place of Sh. Sarvesh Rai, IFS. He will, however, continue to hold the additional position of Director, Soil and Water Conservation, J&K.
Vasu Yadav, IFS (JK:1994), APCCF/Managing Director of the Jammu and Kashmir Forest Development Corporation, has been transferred and appointed Chairman of the Jammu and Kashmir Pollution Control Committee.
J. Frankoi, IFS (JK:1994), APCCF/Director, Forest Protection Force, J&K, replaces Sh. Brij Mohan Sharma, IFS as APCCF, Jammu.
Brij Mohan Sharma, IFS (JK:1995), APPCF/CCF Jammu is promoted to Director, J&K FRI, succeeding Sh. Asaf Mahmood, IFS. He will also be in charge of CCF, Research and Training (R&T).
Sandeep Kujur, IFS (JK:1995), APCCF, Working Plan and R&T, J&K, has been moved and assigned the position of Director, Forest Protection Force, J&K. He will be in charge of CF Agrostology as well.
S. Senthil Kumar, IFS (JK:1997), APCCF/Nodal Officer, FCA, J&K, with additional responsibility for APCCF, P&P, and CCF Vigilance, J&K, has been moved and placed as APCCF, Projects & Planning (P&P). However, he will also be in charge of Nodal Officer, FCA, CCF Vigilance, and CF Working Plan.
S. Rakesh Kumar, IFS (JK:2003), Director, Ecology, Environment & Remote Sensing, J&K, will also serve as CCF, Settlement & Demarcation, J&K.
