Vacations for students up to the eighth standard will start on November 28.

November 25, Srinagar: All schools in the Kashmir division will be closed for the winter break, according to the Directorate of School Education Kashmir (DSEK).

According to an order, students up to the eighth standard will start their holidays on November 28. Students in grades nine through twelve will start their vacations on December 11.

Classes up to the eighth standard will be closed from November 28 to February 29, while classes from the ninth to the twelfth standard will be closed from December 11 to February 29.


The directive said that the teaching staff was to return to their respective schools on February 21, 2024, in order for them to be present for any arrangements pertaining to the test preparation that would follow.

During the summer break, all professors will be accessible upon request to assist students with any online needs, per the directive.
