The LG commended the CO of the 11th Infantry Regiment for his leadership during the 77th Independence Day parade

Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha praised Sandeep Mehta, a JKPS officer from the 2001 batch, for expertly leading the parade at Srinagar’s Bakshi Stadium for the 77th Independence Day Parade, 2023.

He has been honoured for his bravery and service at a number of pivotal positions, earning him the DGP Commendation Medal and the JK Police Medal for Gallantry.

At the Independence Day Parade in Srinagar, there were 11 paramilitary and police contingents, 14 school contingents, and 5 police and school bands.

Everyone, including the Lt. Governor and all senior officers, enjoyed the parade thanks to the Parade Commander’s expert direction and the stunning March Past of the Contingents to the rhythmic rhythms of the Police Band.
