Kupwara, October 29: The exciting finals of the first-ever women’s cricket competition, organised by the Indian Army, took place on Sunday at Bakiaker playground. The winning team was Red Wings Handwara.
Red Wings Handwara defeated Aushtosh Army Goodwill School Budkoot Handwara by a comfortable 68-run margin in the decisive final match. The game was a thrilling demonstration of the skills of the women’s cricket team and a tribute to the value of healthy competition.

Dignitaries and honoured visitors, including Additional Deputy Commissioner of Handwara Nazir Ahmad, attended the championship game. Bashir Ahmad Khan, Vice Chairman of the Municipal Committee of Handwara, DDC Rajwar Mir Sulaiman, Tehsildar Handwara, and many more attended the event.
