New Delhi, Oct. 7: S. Jaishankar, minister of external affairs, hailed on Saturday the “unanimous appreciation” of the Parliamentary Consultative Committee for the G20 Summit held in the nation’s capital when India was in the presidency.


Jaishankar said, “The Parliamentary Consultative Committee met today to discuss our G20 Presidency,” in a post on X, previously known as Twitter. I’m pleased to see that everyone agrees that it was an unequivocal success. And the advantages of the Jan Bhagidari strategy.”

On September 9 and 10, the national capital of India held the 18th G20 Summit, which was attended by the leaders of several nations.

Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam, which translates to “One World, One Family, One Future,” served as the summit’s theme.

On September 9, the G20 leaders approved the Delhi Declaration after reaching an agreement on it. During the second session of the present G20 summit in New Delhi, Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who is also the summit’s chair, made this announcement.

An agreement on the New Delhi G20 Leadership Declaration has been established, according to the good news that Modi announced during the conference.

The G20 presidents declared the African Union, a continental organisation with 55 members, a permanent member of the G20 alliance at the meeting.
