Yesterday, on the 22nd of August, the J&K Public Service Commission made the announcement that the results of the Combined Competitive Examination (CCE)-2022 were available.


According to a communiqué issued by the JKPSC, in its extraordinary meeting held today, on August 22, 2023, after the conclusion of the interviews, the Commission decided to announce the results of all of the candidates who had appeared in the interview and also notify their aggregate marks while publishing a list of candidates who will be summoned for medical examination in accordance with the relevant rules. This decision was made after the interviews had been completed.

In addition, the communiqué states that on April 18, 2022, the General Administration Department recommended 220 positions to the J&K Public Service Commission for the purpose of being filled via the Combined Competitive Examination, and as a result, the Commission advertised these positions on April 19, 2022.

In addition, the statement states that the preliminary examination for the CCE-2022 was held on July 31, 2022, and 23,571 candidates participated in it. The communiqué also states that the results of the preliminary examination for the CCE-2022 were announced on August 18, 2022. It is added that 4944 candidates were declared to have qualified to appear in the main (written) examination of CCE-2022, and 3891 candidates actually appeared in the examination, which was held from February 20, 2023, to March 2, 2023. Out of these 3891 candidates, 787 were declared to have qualified to appear in the interview or personality test, which was held from July 10, 2023, to August 22, 2023. The interview and personality test were held from July 10, 2023, to August 22, 2023.

All the selected candidates are requested to attend any of the Government Medical Colleges (GMC-Srinagar, Jammu, Anantnag, Baramulla, Doda, Handwara, Kathua, Rajouri, or Udhampur) for medical examination on the 23rd and 24th of August, 2023, along with six passport-size photographs. It is important to note that the JKPSC announced the results of the CCE-2021 in January 2023. As of today, the JKPSC has finished the selection process, which was based on a three-tier examination that included the preliminary exam, the main exam, and the personality test/viva voce in a span of 16 months.
