Three people were detained with grenades in Baramulla, north Kashmir

Officials claimed today that three people were detained with grenades in the Chak Tapper region of north Kashmir’s Baramulla district.

According to a police officer, the Baramulla Police Department dismantled a “terrorist recruitment module” in Chak Tapper by detaining three LeT terrorist members.

He said that damning evidence was discovered from the detained individuals.

According to an army officer, an MVCP was constituted on September 10 by the Indian Army and Jammu and Kashmir Police based on intelligence inputs in Chak Tapar, Watargam, and Baramulla.

“Three suspects have been apprehended.” Hand grenades and other war-related items were retrieved. “An investigation is underway,” he stated.
