Subject to fair weather and good road conditions, LMV passengers and private cars shall be allowed from both sides on the Jammu-Srinagar NHW, viz., Jammu towards Srinagar and vice versa. However, we will manage HMVs in a regulated manner after assessing the road condition.
Cut-off timing for LMVs because of single roads at Dalwas, Panthyal, Nachlana, Kishtwari Pather, etc. (subject to change depending on road conditions)
From Nagrota (Jammu) at 0600 hours to 1300 hours,
The journey began in Jakheni (Udhampur) at 0700 hrs. and ended at 1400 hrs.
The NAVYUG Tunnel (Qazigund side) operates from 0600 hours to 1300 hours.
After the cut-off time, no vehicle may enter.
SF Convoy Movement:-
In light of potential traffic congestion due to the narrow carriageway between Nashree and Banihal on the Jammu-Srinagar NHW, we advise or request the Security Forces not to operate against the advisory or traffic plan. Tomorrow, they may fly from Jammu towards Srinagar after confirming the status of NHW from TCU Ramban.
SSG ROAD:-
Subject to fair weather and good road conditions (after getting a green signal from road maintenance agencies), only one-way traffic for LMVs 4X4 (passenger/load carrier) from Kargil towards Srinagar shall be allowed on the Srinagar-Sonamarg-Gumari road. Minamarg will allow these vehicles from 0930 hrs. to 1300 hrs. We advise motorists to carry an anti-skid chain to enhance their grip on the slippery road. No vehicle can operate without an anti-skid chain or after the cut-off time.
Bhaderwah-Chamba road:-
Snow accumulation continues to block the Bhaderwah-Chamba road.
