  1. From April 27, 2024, 1700 hrs. to April 28, 2024, 1700 hrs., Jammu-Srinagar National Highway (NH-44) remained blocked for 1 hour due to repair work at Mehar, Ramban. Slow movement was observed on the National Highway (NH-44) due to the breakdown of six HMVs, four nomadic flocks, single-lane traffic at Dalwas, Mehad, Panthyal, Nachlana, Gangroo, Shalgarhi, etc., and the poor surface condition of the road at many places between Nashri and the NAVYUG Tunnel.
  2. Passengers and LMV operators are advised to prefer journeys on Jammu-Srinagar National Highway (NH-44) during the day, as movement of nomads towards Kashmir Valley may cause inconvenience to commuters and apprehension of shooting stones between Ramban and Banihal.
  3. Load carrier (HMV/LMV) Operators carrying fresh perishable or live stock are advised to load their vehicles as per the advisory issued by Traffic Police Headquarters from time to time, as there is single-lane traffic and poor road condition at Dalwas, Panthyal, Nachlana, Shalgarhi, etc. on Jammu Srinagar National Highway.
