Subject to fair weather and good road conditions, LMV passengers and private cars shall be allowed from both sides on the Jammu-Srinagar NHW, viz., Jammu towards Srinagar and vice versa. However, we will manage HMVs in a regulated manner after assessing the road condition.

Cut-off timing for LMVs given single roads at Dalwas, Panthyal, Nachlana, Kishtwari Pather, etc. (subject to change depending on road conditions)

From Nagrota (Jammu) at 0600 hours to 1300 hours,

The journey began in Jakheni (Udhampur) at 0700 hrs. and ended at 1400 hrs.

The NAVYUG Tunnel (Qazigund side) operates from 0600 hours to 1300 hours.

After the cut-off time, no vehicle may enter.

SSG ROAD:-

Subject to fair weather and good road conditions (after getting a green signal from road maintenance agencies), only one-way traffic for LMVs 4X4 (passenger/load carrier) from Srinagar towards Kargil shall be allowed on the Srinagar-Sonamarg-Gumari road. Sonamarg will allow these vehicles from 0930 hrs. to 1300 hrs. We advise motorists to carry an anti-skid chain to enhance their grip on the slippery road. No vehicle can operate without an anti-skid chain or after the cut-off time.

Bhaderwah-Chamba road:-

Snow accumulation continues to block the Bhaderwah-Chamba road.
