Tral accident leaves 1 dead and 11 wounded

One person was killed and eleven were injured in an accident on Thursday in the Tral region of the Pulwama district in south Kashmir.

Asadullah Bhat, a resident of Sharifabad Tral, was confirmed to be the victim.

At approximately 5 o’clock in the evening, two cars crashed on the Tral-Nowdal route.

At least 12 passengers, according to an official, were hurt in the crash.

The wounded, the source said, were swiftly sent to Sub District Hospital Tral.

Because of the severity of their wounds, “some of the injured were later transferred to SMHS and Bone and Joint Hospital in Srinagar,” the officer added.

One of the wounded people, he added, died from his wounds later on.
