Two Suspected Individuals in Baramulla Arrested with Pistol and Ammunition

Srinagar, October 31: According to authorities, two suspects were taken into custody on Tuesday with weapons and ammunition in the Baramulla district of north Kashmir’s Dangarpora region.

They informed GNS that a combined JK Police and Army team had detained a couple at Nardhari Dangarpora on Monday night. “Upon their frisking, the joint party recovered a Chinese pistol, 12 9mm rounds, and two Chinese grenades” , they said.

A complaint has been filed in this respect, the official said, and both Ghulam Hassan Mir, son of Ghulam Rasool Mir, and Mukhtar Ahmad Khan, son of Mohammad Afzal Khan, who live in Chandoosa Baramulla, have been brought into jail to be questioned. In GNS
