District-Level Master Trainers (DLMT) led the one-day training session that was organised at many Baramulla venues, including Government Degree College Boys, Government Higher Secondary School, and Government Boys Higher Secondary School Baramulla, to impart training on the occasion.

The District Level Master Trainers provided thorough information throughout the training course about the planning and execution of the next Urban Local Bodies (ULB) election in 2023. The Nodal Officer Election Monitoring advised ROs and AROs to abide by the laws and to read the ROs manual.

In order to ensure that the ULB Elections in the district are conducted in a free, fair, and transparent way, a question-and-answer session to clear up any misconceptions concerning the election processes and regulations was organised on this day.

Many participants had questions about the elections, which the Master Trainers satisfactorily addressed in order to dispel all of the lingering uncertainty surrounding the EVM and other crucial processes.

In the meantime, a thorough explanation of the role that ROs and AROs would play was given to them. This included the management of the election, the nomination process, the examination of nomination papers, the procedure for withdrawing one’s candidature, the management of EVMs (Electronic Voting Machines), polling and counting votes, declaring results, and adhering to the model code of conduct.
