In order to alter the socioeconomic situation of the agricultural community in J&K, the director instructed the responsible officials to strive towards the successful execution of various initiatives under the Holistic Agriculture Development Programme. He said, “The department and farmers must work closely together as a team to achieve the set targets under various projects.”

According to the director, there is a great demand for Kashmiri veggies outside of the union territory due to the bad weather in other regions of the nation. He urged the farmers to make every effort to increase the yield of various vegetable crops. He made it clear to the appropriate field officials that the farmers should get all necessary technical assistance throughout their attempts.
