On Saturday, the Metrological Department of Jammu and Kashmir (MeT) forecasted dry weather for the whole state till the second of November, with the potential for light rain or snow in a few remote areas.

According to the MeT spokeswoman, the sky is clear or partly cloudy throughout much of J&K today.

According to the latest forecast from the regional weather centre, the days between the 25th and the 28th of October will be mostly clear to partly cloudy. There will be light rain and snow in a few higher locations on October 9th.


The forecast for the last two days of October and the first two days of November is partly overcast, according to the MeT department.

The weather is ideal for harvesting and storing crops safely, and there is no chance of significant rainfall or snowfall in Jammu and Kashmir or Ladakh until October 2nd, according to the report.
